Kim Joo-hyung, placed in front of Woods at the Masters official press conference
Kim Joo-hyung (21) will hold an official press conference for the Masters, the first major tournament of the PGA Tour season, right in front of the “golf emperor” Tiger Woods (USA).
Kim Joo-hyung was selected as a participant in the Masters press conference held at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, USA at 11:30 pm on the 4th. The competition will run for four days from the 6th.
The official press conference before the Masters tournament, which is called the ‘great battle’, is usually attended by candidates for the championship, players in the center of the topic, and last year’s winner. On the 3rd, interviews with Jason Day (Australia), Jordan Spieth (USA), and Cameron Smith (Australia) are scheduled. On the 4th, as well as Woods and Kim Joo-hyung, Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland), John Rahm (Spain), Justin Thomas (above USA), Matt Fitzpatrick (England), Max Homa, Scotty Scheffler, Patrick Cantlay (above USA), etc. Famous players come out. 안전놀이터
Kim Joo-hyung was scheduled 30 minutes before Woods’ interview that day. Although he has yet to win a major tournament, he seems to have been included in the list of attendees at the press conference as he received attention as a rising rookie of the PGA Tour by winning the Wyndham Championship and the Shriners Children’s Open last year.
Woods has not yet officially announced whether he will participate in the Masters this year, but his name was put on the press conference timetable, putting weight on the possibility of participation. Previously, Woods had won the Masters five times, in 1997, 2001, 2002, 2005 and 2019.
