Kim hit in the knee by a bat…substituted in excruciating pain
The San Diego Padres’ Ha-Sung Kim has been forced to leave the game due to injury.
Kim suffered the injury in his first at-bat in the second inning of the Padres’ game against the Washington Nationals at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., on 26 June.
Facing starter Jake Irvin, he took the second pitch of a 1-0 count and a foul ball struck him directly on the inside of his left knee.먹튀검증
Kim went down immediately and later complained of excruciating pain. Head coach Bob Melvin and a trainer came out to assess his condition.
Eventually, it was decided that he was not fit to play and he was substituted. It was not good. I left the field with two trainers on either side of me. He could barely put any weight on his left leg.
Brandon Dixon came on as a substitute and took his place.
