Chelsea’s best eleven has been picked with the manager in place.

Football statistics site Squawka predicted Mauricio Pochettino’s best 11 on the 30th.

“Chelsea have a very young squad. With the arrival of Christopher Nkunku and the departure of Mason Mount, what changes need to be made?” the site noted.

The depth of Chelsea’s best 11 under Pochettino is thick. So much so that a triple squad is possible.

Conspicuously absent is the name of Mount. He is expected to part ways with Chelsea at the end of the season.

Mount came through the Chelsea youth ranks and was a key resource, but has been a non-factor this season. He has lost his place under Graham Potter after performing below expectations.

Mount is out of contract at Chelsea next summer and has set the table for a new deal, including a pay rise.

However, negotiations have slowed down as they have been unable to resolve differences over wages, and there is a strong sense of separation.

Pochettino has reportedly been tipped to take over at Chelsea and try to persuade Mount to stay, but it looks like the pair are headed for a parting of the ways.

The likes of Manchester United and Liverpool are understood to be making strong bids for Mount.
